ACCIONA Energy’s 56 MW Tuppadahalli wind park, located in Karnataka in India, has recently come online.
The Tuppadahalli wind park comprises 34 1.65 MW turbines, which will offset approximately 129,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually and power 35,000 Indian households.
The electricity generated is purchased by the state-owned distribution company MESCOM.
Including Tuppadahalli, ACCIONA Energy now owns three wind farms in Karnataka, with a total installed capacity of 85.8 MW.
